Wearing vintage is like walking an adorable dog downtown. People stop to compliment. Conversations ensue. New friends are made.

My Prince Henry |
We saw each other across a crowded room. Actually it was an Aquarium, where my friend Kelly was getting married. Henry is the groom's fabulously fun uncle.
We bonded over our matching canary yellow, then danced the night away.
Even the bride is wearing a consignment gown. Absolutely stunning.
And then I wore it to the Dock Street Theatre. It's Spoleto time here in Charleston, The Man About Town and I took in a production of The Flying Lovers of Vitebsk.
I have fun every time I wear this dress. It's styled to go anywhere and be comfortable, too. No fewer than four strangers stopped to compliment my dress Saturday night. Even the valet liked it and parked my car for free. But maybe that's because I drive a seriously hot, yet understated car.

The Market Pavilion Hotel |
Then off for cocktails and Jazz where the floor matched my dress.
